I caught this delightful movie on TCM and tried to order it on Amazon, but couldn't find it. It includes some early performances of name performers like Johnny Cash and Judy Henske. Other performers were the Gateway Trio, Cathie Taylor (Outstanding), The Brothers Four, Joe and Eddie (Outstanding), Sheb Wooley, and George Hamilton IV singing his song, Abilene. The plot is about a New York TV Director who leaves his job and stumbles onto the Hootenanny circuit and discovers music that New Yorkers have never heard. He makes a remote shooting of the hootenanny to broadcast to his 35 million viewers.
