I loved this film with its beautiful views of the Big Island, with which I fell in love with after moving there in 1973. The message through cinematography was so clear and you had to just become silent within and allow the sounds to carry you to that place you never knew existed. The "oli" or chant from Akiko was over-powering just as I experienced it first-hand many times during the years of my relationship with her. You will take away from this film whatever you never knew you needed in your own life.
