As a lover of bad Christmas movies, Angels in the Snow remains among my personal favorites. Everything from the plot to the special effects are just so horrendous in a way that satisfies my most fervent bad Christmas movie cravings. I have watched this film year-round for at least the last three years, and I have not regretted any second of it. I am ashamed to admit how familiar I've become with the script. Asides from the extremely unnatural dialogue, however, I am personally a very big fan of the extremely unnatural snow, the effect of which seems to have been created using fire extinguisher or some other foam-like substance. The dark spin on Christmas was certainly confusing the first time I watched this, but I've grown to appreciate it in all of its reaching, tacky essence. I genuinely don't know what kind of message the writers of the film were trying to convey, as death and the holiday season are not closely associated in our modern day, but the plot twist has me both baffled and laughing every time. Angels in the Snow is just authentically bad in every way, and I enjoy it like no other.
