An absolute masterpiece. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen a film this good honestly.

One of the best films I’ve ever seen, and definitely my favourite Christopher Nolan film. The cast is phenomenal, the script is original and brilliant, and the cinematography is very impressive as well. It may be a slow film, but it’s the kind of movie that keeps you constantly guessing. The first time I watched it, I never could have guessed Borden’s trick, but when you watch it again, you’ll find it’s actually very obvious from the start. This is a story regarding the dangers of obsession, and the dark path that follows revenge. The narration is absolutely fantastic, the whole film was very well done honestly. And every single actor was amazing, but I honestly think Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale both deserve a lot more recognition for this film, it’s criminally underrated.

To put it simply, it’s a masterpiece. It’s definitely not for everyone though. It’s beautiful and heartbreaking, and the cinematography is immaculate. I’m a big fan of David Lynch, his work is so raw and unique, and it makes you feel something. This film is absolute art, but not everyone will see it that way, my friends found it very entertaining but they didn’t see the beauty of it. It has some harsh content that can be very disturbing and hard to watch, so keep that in mind if you are sensitive to certain content, especially misogyny and violence against women. Blue Velvet has become a cult classic beloved by fans of mystery, erotica, and weird art films. Kyle MacLachlan never fails to amaze me, he’s definitely one of the most talented actors. Anyways, in conclusion, it’s a really good movie and I do recommend it, but viewers discretion is advised.

Wow, this movie was a mind f*ck. I was blown away by Eyes Wide Shut, it’s been awhile since a movie captured my attention to this extent, I’ve also never seen another film like it. I really enjoyed it, although I was a bit confused the whole time (I think they did that on purpose). It was dark and twisted, but really well done. Tom Cruise was the perfect casting choice, he was phenomenal in his role. It’s a long film but it’s worth watching. It’s mind blowing and disturbing that Kubrick died 4 days after presenting Warner Films with the Final Cut of the film. Makes you almost wonder if there was something more sinister behind his “heart attack” given the plot of Eyes Wide Shut along with the timing of his death. I feel like the ending of this film just leaves you with more questions rather than answering any of them, but it will screw with your head in the best way possible.

John Wick four is a great end to the franchise. It’s well done and full of action. The first two John Wick films were better in my opinion, but this one is still really good.

A great action film, however I prefer John Wick 1 and 2. There’s a lot of action but not a lot of plot in my opinion, but I understand that’s kind of the point and I still really enjoyed it.

My favourite John Wick film personally, it has the perfect balance between action and plot, and the cast is fantastic. I found this film to be the most engaging of the four.

John Wick is one of the best action film franchises ever made, and Keanu Reeves is the perfect actor for the role. I love the first film because it has more plot than the other three that focus primarily on the action.

A beautifully done period piece with an amazing cast and script, the cinematography is breathtaking, and it’s very true to the book. Keira Knightly is a great Elizabeth Bennet, she was honestly made to do old fashion romance films. This film adaptation is quite accurate to the book and it’s an amazing slow burn romance. It’s literally the best example of enemies to lovers that I can think of.

By far my favourite Emma adaptation. I’m Usually not a huge fan of Gwyneth Paltrow, but she was the perfect Emma in my opinion. It’s a pretty slow moving film, but it’s great if you enjoy a good slow burn romance. The ending is beautiful as well. I really recommend it if you enjoy period pieces, or romance films.
