I really liked the series because I heard her music but never really paid no attention but after the series I started learning about Selena etc. and although Christian is doing a good job. I hope that in season 2 she portrays and adult version of Selena and not a teen because although Selena was only 23 when she died, she was very mature but and I am getting teen vibes from Christian. Selena had very big concerts I learned in 1992 she had a big concert in Mexico the series skipped all of that and if it was a movie I would have understood because and movie can't show all the details but its a series which means we are to be given a bigger picture/ story than that of a movie and I watched the series, the watched the movie and re-watched the series and the series isn't that much different than the movie because certain details were left out and that's why I was shocked when I was on You-tube and found out that she had a concert in 1992 where she made her big debut in Mexico and it wasn't really mentioned in the series. So I think that although the series introduced Selena's music to a larger group of people it wasn't enough of a story. I hope that for this next part of her life they don't just rush through it because I have grown to love Selena and her music and I wouldn't mind waiting a bit longer to see her being portrayed a bit more. The next thing is Christian's dancing I think that they are many Latina dancers and actresses because it is a big part of their Latin culture, many more people should have been interviewed because although Christian Mexican, American and a great Actress she is not a dancer and Selena was a great dancer and I have watched Selena's concerts in 1992 and Christian is quite stiff(no offense) but she is not a dancer and it didn't look natural. So I hope that in 2021 when the series season 2 comes out it is way better than that of season 1.

The show is a wonderful but I had to stop watching it for some time because it made me remember stuff that I blame myself for like my cousin dyeing, it made me think if I should be like Hannah and then I watched and realized how her friends and family is suffering and I didn't want to be selfish or shouldn't be so selfish and I think that suicidal people should watch this show because they might not think of themselves but they will think of their loved ones and make them rethink their decisions
