Don't look at the negative reviews. The age bracket of people who enjoyed the originals are at an age where they are cynical jerks who are spoilt for choice. If you liked the originals for the character development and the clever life questions it made you ask yourself then you will enjoy it. If you come only looking forward to the best of best action scenes because that's on brand then you will be disappointed as those technologies are now available to everyone. As a fan of the originals and a hater of reboots I believe they did the series justice.
