Why on earth have they not carried on with the books in this final series? So much of what I've seen so far doesn't feature in the books at all. The last series ended in 1799 when Elizabeth dies - correct. The next book starts 11 years later in 1810 - NOT 1800 as this series would have us believe. Very disappointed and irritated that the writers couldn't stick with the original content. Not sure I shall bother with the rest of it.
