Honestly I don't know why anyone would hate this series, hands down one of the best cartoon shows ever made. I have nothing but mad respect for the creators of the show lol

Yeah it's great, SUPER funny, very goofy, heartwarming, and extremely unrealistic, that last part only applys to second half of season 4, so don't worry. Tho it still sets an unrealistic expectations for girls, with the "feminism" in the wrong side, because I'm a girl and still I don't get to pour/slash water at boys' face and others( who knows absolutely nothing about the situation) laugh about it. *Spoiler Alert* Ever since she revealed her secret to the world, Miley became weird, her fans a.k.a. the KIDS became the rulers of the world, and the show is just not so funny anymore (except for Rico and Jackson, they're hilarious). Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the other seasons, but right now, I'm just PISSED, alright?
