I think this series (just finished on Talking Pictures ) was excellent . I looked forward to it each week as something actually worth watching. At times it was very moving indeed, and gave some indication how much the Islanders suffered. It also aimed to show that all Germans ( my Grandfather was from Berlin) were not bad but had feelings also.
