This has to be the best horror movie I have seen in years. It is extremely creepy and scary. The fact that something like this could ever actually happen is the scariest element of the movie. The 16mm grainy film really freaked me out making it look like it happened in the 1960s. You get the feeling that it is all really happening and you are there. Yes, there are many unanswered questions here but that adds to the atmosphere and creepiness. The special effects are the best I have seen in a horror movie, look out for Kathleen's eyes when she is talking to father Thomas while she is lying in bed chained to the wall. This is a movie that will have to be watched several times in order to see the things you missed the first time. There has to be a sequel or prequel it can't be left like that.
