A clever and funny show that at times is both a parody and a satire, playing off of both the ridiculous real-world events and attitudes that inspired the show as well as occasionally pointing out the moral issues of trying to militarize space. Honestly not a show meant to just be non-stop laughs but also has aspects of a drama buried beneath it's writing. I personally enjoyed the first season, and for it's few (half-hearted) serious moments it at least makes an effort to point out how the pursuit of aggressive militarization of space in the Trump era is something that would only push us closer to conflict. Overall the show combines comedy and satire with moments meant to bring back the nostalgia of the early space exploration era when humanity first put mankind into space.
