Thank you for this book, Jeanine. For me, who is far removed from the horrors migrants go through trying to get to the U.S., it gave me a glimpse of what their lives on the run are like. I'm halfway through the book and I can't get over how heartbreakingly sad it is. But this feels like a necessary story that needs to be told. I pray for a happy ending.

There's something about this movie that just makes me want to comment. There were powerful performances from the young actresses ),especially Talitha and Lulu. I particularly enjoyed their slow descent into the evil around them. Still didn't buy the obliviousness of the hosts to not understand what evil they have locked in a room that would lay prey to the young girls but I still enjoyed the movie and Annabelle torturing the young ladies one by one... nice
movie. Worth watching.
