Definitely not the game I wanted, and from the other reviews the feeling is mutual for a lot of players of the original TLOU. However I can appreciate what Naughty dog set out to do here and their execution was close to perfect. That's not to say their weren't issues, e.g. some "scene changes" were particularly jarring and left me rushing through story to get closure. But ultimately this was without a doubt worthwhile experience, even if painful at points. Gameplay, level design & graphics are all 10/10, incredibly immersive and the environment feels really true to life. Voice actors also did a great job conveying the emotion.
