I’m in catch-up mode because I didn’t watch it from the beginning. I wanted to comment on my observation of Ethan and Olivia’s marriage. My opinion is that they were not only married young, but they were without many life experiences. Neither of them have experienced the differences in men and women. Olivia is the classic women that wants emotions to drive the relationship and Ethan feels being a strong provider should drive the relationship. While it really takes a combination of both and combining them takes a long long time and many sacrifices. They might benefit from the Mars vs Venus interpretation of men and women. I hope they can survive the challenge.

As a avid fan of Downton Abby I really enjoyed this movie. It fell inline with the previous series, but it could keep the interest of someone watching it for the first time. It experienced many moods from funny to serious. I find this series to be inline with the emotions of today’s world as well as the past. I can compare it to the trials of today’s world as well as yesterday’s trials and tribulations (just less formal). I personally think we could do with a little more formally because today’s world has lost a lot of respect for formality and dignity.
