Neo Ajaka (neoamaru)

Two tracks into it and my tired old school ears cannot take that onslaught of riffs & power.. I think I can safely say that I finally overcame my St. Anger trauma.. I think they just set the bar quite high with this one. They can just end it at that and it would be a very high note.

it took me quite a while to warm up to it, now i can't get enough of it!

My least favorite game of the series, but it is just as memorable to me as the other 2 (well, 3 if you count the 4th installment released 6 months ago) You have to appreciate the amount of effort that went into making this, despite the sometimes laggy mechanics and the lack of so many important characteristics, such as mob life bars, special attacks. it did serve as a blueprint for the next installment. i was proud to have this game in my collection, and i replayed it countless times when i was a child.

In retrospect, and that's the 10 year-old in me speaking, the only three things i hated about this game are: - Axel looking like an old fart. - The sound effects whenever you punched someone were not as memorable as SOR2. - i had the Japanese version so i couldn't understand a thing from the story. Nonetheless, i truly appreciate what they are trying to do, defying all limitations and the tides of time changing.. this is a wonderful, memorable game, and all hate is just unjustified.
