Ok so jumping in straight to the point, I would like to nominate Sui Dhaaga in the category for the worst Bollywood movies of the year. The film has no story, absolutely no story and the screenplay is so dead that in between the movie you will start cursing yourself. Varun Dhawan used to work somewhere at a lower level and then at the end of the movie i.e after almost two and a half hours he wins a Raymond competition and becomes rich. Between the start and the end there is absolutely nothing. I was expecting the director of the movie to make a disaster and he has completely lived upto my expectations. The movie is not only a disaster but it is horrendous to watch it for so long. If you are going to watch the movie than please imagine that you will be lifeless for the next two hours. Ok, as I always say, I will talk straight to the point. The movie lacks big time in story and screenplay. The topic of electricity raised in this movie is best for a documentary or a short film but not for a movie. If at all this subject is made into a movie than the screenplay should be good enough to stretch it to 2 hours or 3 hours. Unfortunately it's completely opposite in the film. Performances by the star cast is almost decent on a graph considering that's what they were asked to do by the director. There are a lot of mistakes with the character that they are playing which obviously the director is to blame for. The director does not know much about direction since his characters never look real. Just look at the way how the characters talk, dress, look etc, you will get a feel of what I am talking about. Anyways we want to watch a movie because we want to do time pass. But remember this time pass is not free. This is a movie which in the first place should not have been made into a movie. Movie rating - 1.5/10 Happy weekend.

Movie Rating - 0.5/5 (half a star) I will again stick to the points. This movie is so predictable and so much flat out boring that you would soon start making plans on when are you gonna leave the cinema hall. The screenplay is too flat. No one is interested in the characters since it is so badly written. There is a high chance one could easily fall off to sleep. Ok, so there is nothing much I can say about Satyamev Jayate because it has nothing in it. Do not watch it just for the sake of John Abraham. Those who are thinking that they will watch Satyamev Jayate instead of Gold should think twice. Both are unwatchable. The reason I have given it a 0.5 rating instead of a zero is because after watching the full movie, it will not haunt you for days. Thank You. No Offence or Disrespect to the movie makers. This is a review for the audience.

I will stick to the points. Gold is a completely waste of time movie. The movie has zero emotions in it. I thought the promos / trailers were bad but not until I saw the movie. The movie is more awful. The main actor has made the movie look even worse. I would not comment further since you know what I am talking about if you have already seen the movie. When everyone works towards a film why don't the producers focus on the narrative and storytelling? Why don't they hire an actual story writer, an actual talent? It is even more disappointing this movie coming from Excel. Yeah THE excel entertainment. Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar ( I do respect them though). They are too as well, short of good movie scripts. Hell I would have written a better fiction story than this extremely disappointing narrative. I thus give this movie a zero star.
