As a person who spends a lot of time on social media, this movie really rings true. When you have people who refuse to believe science and refuse to treat scientists who are honestly trying to save lives with the respect they deserve, the outcome of this movie seems plausible and realistic. I know that when I look back at Idiocracy now, in many ways it seems like a documentary. I’m afraid that when I look back on this movie in five or 10 years, I’ll have the same feeling. Definitely worth watching.
