This book was a little hard to get into at first. At times it was a bit confusing...dark and demonic. I kept thinking how could Winter continue to be so freaking stupid. Then the story got brighter, thank goodness (even though I still found her actions to be stupid at times). I'm happy that Winter was finally able to get herself together without losing herself completely in the process. It wasn't at all what I expected but that's what made it a good read for me.
