LOVE this movie! It’s not gonna win any Oscars, although the cast is great! It’s just a great horror/thriller movie! “Candy cane” had become a regular part of our vernacular...”I’m lookin’ for Candy Cane”....

Wow! The visuals in this movie were awesome but otherwise, it was one of the stupidest things I’ve seen. I would really like that hour and a half of my life back.

The 1996 version of Emma, with Gwyneth Paltrow, is one of my favorite movies, so I was curious to see how this matched up. Needless to say, I was disappointed. It’s not a bad movie by any stretch and the acting is good, costumes are magnificent, as is the scenery, but Taylor-Joy’s take on the character comes across as snobbish and lacks all of the sweetness and charm of Paltrow’s. Goth’s version of Harriet is just downright silly, especially when compared with how Toni Collette play the character. Unfortunately, you don’t fall in love with any of these characters and therefore, don’t really care what happens to them. Watch the 1996 version and compare for yourself.

I absolutely LOVE this movie and specifically this version. I just watched the recent version and it lacks the sweetness and charm of this one. I like all of the characters better in this one, as well. If you’re going to watch Emma, definitely invest in this one!

I REALLY enjoyed this movie. I thought it was a really cool and unique concept and I thought the “story-telling” was perfectly fine.

Incredibly done and unique in its presentation of the subject matter. It’s SO relevant to today with everyone being so involved with being on their phones, being on social media, etc. Is a must see!
