I could not get through the entire documentary! SMH:) Huh!! Thought this would be more ground breaking and informative. Subject matter was somewhat opinionated, one-sided and lacking objectivity. I won't get into the details. I agree that people should not allow victimization to stop their continuous quest for what they feel is "Success" in America. However, ignoring all the historical "Scars" and injustices (do the research) that America's power structure has continuously unleashed on people of color and just saying "work hard and you can live the American dream" is a recipe for history repeating itself over and over again. Don't get it twisted.. I love my country and served in the USMC. We can't look at everything like this team or that team. Listening to your heart and hopefully an objective mind will lead you down the right path.."fingers crossed"...smile.... As great as America is, there is a lot healing, social economic/historical awarenes, compassion and self reflection required by everyone in order for this country to fully live up to the dream of one nation undivided. My 2 cents!
