fun book to just pick up and read for a few minutes..the book has bits of historical stories about people who dined on game such a lions and sea creatures...descriptions of plants .. and dishes from around the world .. some may be facts and and some ???? as it was published in 1952 ?? I just purchased a copy for a friend who is interested in food and is quite daring when he cooks
