They had 8 episodes to cover a lot of ground. Not only did they have a LOT of filler that was never in the books in any form, they even wasted an entire episode on just filler. And for what? To assassinate characters who were smart and competent in the books to have one now be a wanna-be dictator with the dumbest plan in creation? Assassinating characters seems to be the goal in this show, too. Why did they make Matt an angry thief from the loyal prankster? Why is Matt's dad a womanizing abuser instead of the loving father? Why is Tam barely competent with his sword, when owning that sword marks him as a Blademaster? Why? And there's so many more. All the characters that sustained a wildly successful 15 book series are so deeply unlikable or just forgettable. I forgot the damn Dragon Reborn was even in the show because they made him so bland and forgettable! This show is deeply disappointing as a reader of the books, and as a show on it's own is disjointed. It feels like it wants to be one thing, but is constrained by having to pay lip service to the books, and poorly at that. They should have adapted the books, or made whatever secondary show Rafe tried inserting in the middle of Wheel of Time.

I've beaten this alone, and co-op with my 9 year old son. Both instances were quite enjoyable, and the game can be very forgiving, giving you plenty of chances to regrow your army after an accidental mass drowning. It's a nice, chill game that can be beaten in 1-2 days, depending on how efficient you want to be, none of the puzzles are too difficult, and was a very good bonding game time with my son, which is something I'm always on the look for especially during this time.
