As a long-time fan of the Planet of the Apes series, I had high hopes for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. Unfortunately, this installment is a massive letdown. All the previous movies in the series were masterpieces—rich in storytelling, character depth, and thrilling narratives. This one, however, feels like a hollow shell of its predecessors. The script is poorly written, lacking the emotional resonance and tension that made the earlier films so iconic. The plot meanders without purpose, and the characters are underdeveloped, making it hard to care about their journeys. The nuanced themes of survival, morality, and coexistence that defined the earlier films are completely absent here. Instead, we’re left with a shallow, uninspired story that feels more like a generic action movie than part of a legendary saga. A disgrace to the Planet of the Apes legacy. Fans deserve better than this poorly scripted mess. Verdict: Killing the hero ape is just the final nail in the coffin of a movie that already fails on every level. An utter disappointment.

The much-hyped climax—often considered the movie's saving grace—came across as implausible and failed to evoke any real emotion or shock. For a movie that's been celebrated as a masterclass in suspense, The Game turned out to be one of the worst thrillers I’ve ever watched. It lacked the tension, innovation, and depth that define great thrillers.

A clear propaganda film, the film is just one of several films justifying America's foreign occupation. It is surprising that there is not a single benevolent foreign citizen in Western films about war, the benevolent ones are shown, but they are often shown as tacit supporters of American soldiers. 1/10 Remember the 2010 Oscars? What else can be seen from the industry that gave an Oscar to the propaganda film The Hurt Locker without giving an Oscar to the world-class movie Avatar, which had never been seen in the world cinema before!!!
