Getting over its age, it is a very good horror film. Some jump cuts, close ups and wide shots look dated but it has plenty more "modern" cinematography that makes up for it. It is a nice slow burn till about halfway in the movie when all hell breaks loose and the monster and why are revealed. It has great stunts, there's a real nice cowboy switch at the native camp that I really enjoyed. The make up, prosthetics and the practical effects are great, they look gross and slimy. I also think it looks good because most of it was shot on location, definitely give it a watch.
