The characters voice choices seemed a little odd. The sole reason the voices were picked; with the exception of Pumba(Seth Rogan), the wise monkey guy, mufasa, and the hyenas - maybe also some others im forgetting; were because they are good singers. Felt like a lot of the actors were reading the script to much. I couldnt find myself believing in these characters. No one really won me over. I think you couldve gone heavy majority african actors / voices. Good Visuals. The CGI is INSANE. Like dos puntos away from being indistinguishable from our reality, which is - weird. I like the narrative of responsibility. Two philosophical ideas to life are present in this film which I find fantastic. We need more of conversations of this in our society. Key and peele guy was a little weird also but he did well and added some good comedic relief. Overall Rating 4.5/10
