It's got mystery, decent action, good world building, some potential romance, a bit of drama, and a lot of [tasteful] gore. One of the best and most unpredictable animes I've ever watched. The art style and animation are great, it's CGI which I dont usually dig but the CGI's relatively subtle and surprisingly actually enhances the show. It's a darker kind of anime too but the comedy's pretty good so there's this certain lightness to it that balances it all out.
One of the best things about it are the characters. The characters are well fleshed out and each one of them has depth, you pretty much end up loving all of them. I like how some characters are pretty unconventional (like Noi). When it comes to who's good and who's bad it's all entirely debatable because even the antagonists aren't necessarily villains just guys that so happen to be against Caiman and Nikaido, lol at this point you can consider the villains as main characters. I like how the relationships are in the anime too, you feel genuine connection and camaraderie between the characters and you can see how it's a huge driving point for the the decisions that they make.
The plot and the slow unraveling of the mystery behind Caiman's identity is pretty well executed too. There were a few obvious stuff here and there but it's still pretty unpredictable. The only thing I can complain about is probably the plot armors but its pretty minor and I'm kinda thankful for them lol. Obviously it wasnt all solved in one season so I'm pretty hyped over what's next. Overall it's a thrilling one of a kind anime with great art and great characters and great storytelling. Hope we get a season 2!
