One of the best SNES like platformers since Mega-Man X!
Playing this made me feel 12 years old again. You can tell the devs put a ton of time and thought into the flow of this game. The music is captivating and themes each stage perfectly (will be jamming in my car). The beautiful color palettes make each foreign land unique and memorable. The boss battles are reminiscent of the old 'remember the pattern' boss types yet are still challenging. You can even get deep insight about the human ego if you talk to the shopkeeper long enough...
I know this sounds like a commercial, but the game is well worth the time and money. It will deliver an experience I'd thought dead in the current gaming industry's climate.
