Being a huge fan of the books, this movie was extremely disappointing. They left out and changed so many things from the book. The plot was so broken up, if I hadn't read the books, I would've had no idea what was going on. First off, Liam is southern, they did not put that in his character at all. She didn't erase Sam's memory, they didn't even touch on how important her friendship was with her and how she accidentally erased it. And the van is named "black betty". There were no reds in the first book either, we dont find out about Clancy's army of reds until later on in the book series. Zu also chooses to leave with a group of yellows to California. Liam does not put her with them. Oh, and they are called "yellows", not gold. I hope they dont try to waste everyone's time with a second movie because they've already damaged the story line so much, they wont be able to repair it.
