I think those who have rated this movie poorly haven't experienced moments with someone that have changed their lives. Those who have been moved by this movie can relate on a deeper level, coming out of it in awe and tears revisiting those emotions from the night they met that person who changed their life, romantically or not. That is the case for me, at least. This is one of my most favorite movies for how real and raw it is. Nothing fantasy, very relatable, which is great to have in a movie every once in a while. Chris Evans did a fantastic job in his directorial debut, I hadn't even realized until the credits rolled and I wiped my tears to read his name under "director". A simple movie so full of beauty and honesty. I can't get enough and I cry just as hard now as I did the first time I watched it.
