I remember the first time I watched this film, over a decade ago. FMF is the film that made me fall in love with Wes Anderson’s vibrant and creative style of filmmaking. This film introduced me to the world of film and has inspired me to make my own short films. Not only is FMF a film for younger audiences (it is after all based on a children’s book), it’s a great watch for adults too. The quirky tail (yes I did that on purpose) is somewhat creepy which makes it fun for older viewers.

Such a beautiful hotel with a wide range of vibrant colour and character. Rooms are a bit out of date but that didn’t bother me. Apparently some lady was murdered 90 years ago or something and a concierge working at the hotel got arrested for it. This made my stay a bit off putting, but overall the hotel was very unique and I enjoyed my stay.
