Fatherhood is a novel and fresh retelling of myriad ways parenting can unfold. While it overlooks a nuanced portrayal of the problems faced by single parents, Fatherhood reminds us how petrifying patriarchy can be even for males. Not surprisingly, it also probes us to see the difference in public imagination around single dads and single moms, the latter facing more pronounced onslaught of parental quandary.
Hart does a great job I feel. His acting arc is phenomenal. Overall, Fatherhood is a good weekend watch.
