Nepali Randi?! @primevideoin before I even start, I want to highlight a news article back from May 30, 2014 by DNA, which was entitled as - "Does the police really care about rape victims?"
A segment from the same has been outlined here; " Girls from Darjeeling and Nepal have come here for business purposes. They go with men for money. Later, when the money is not sufficient, it becomes a rape: Rajpal Yadav, Additional SHO of Sector 29, Gurgaon.". Are you are trying to dramatise Rajpal Yadav's statement?
Now, I ask you @anushkasharma as the producer of this Amazon Prime series, Pataal Lok. (Scene from Season 1, Episode 2, 3 minutes & 41 seconds)
How dare you do this to BRAND millions of hard working community from #Nepal a sovereign nation. Cultural history, ethnicity and language, also shared by Indian Citizens majorly settled in Sikkim, Districts of Kalimpong, Darjeeling, Assam, Meghalaya and all over India and the world?
And during the time when Northeastern Indians are termed as "Corona" and are mercilessly being assaulted all over the streets of India, this scene only proves that the entire crew of #PataalLok is here to spread communal disharmony, which is totally racist against the women of Nepal and my northeastern community.
APOLOGIZE! And remove this segment.
