Bob Saget

A remake that is worth the discounted price of 30 dollars to fans of the early seasons of spongebob and playformers alike. The game gets a major facelift with the improved graphics yet still strikes the balance of feeling like the original. The game looks absolutely beautiful and I loved every minute of jumping through the bright seabed of jellyfish fields to sneaking in the dark depths of rock bottom. Many levels based off of locations from the show immersed me into the nautical nonsense that is the spongebob universe. The character dialogues and interactions are fantastic as well which will provide many laughs along the way. The quality of life improvements are also greatly appreciated to not bore veterans and is also welcoming for newcomers of the game as well. I encountered a couple graphical issues on my Xbox version but nothing that took away or hindered my experience with the game. My Nintendo switch version on the other hand is not so lucky. The switch version in my experience was very buggy and had game changing bugs that put sour Tastes in my mouth while playing. The game also does not run well enough on switch and it the graphics were not optimized well for this console. PlayStation and Xbox are the best experience for this game and highly recommend a play through for any spongebob fan.
