I'm not sure why all the other reviews finest so funny. Both women are angry and bitter and I don't see why people thinks that's funny. Okay it's good to see a sitcom where the parents aren't perfect but these parents are horrible! Also why do people think alcoholism is funny. Roseanne did the same thing, so intent on showing crisis situations like the dad dying that it's cease to be funny anymore. I actually enjoy watching a sitcom that's funny and doesn't try and be more than that.
