A movie full of non sense dialogues and acting. Main lead of the movie was never close to “sidhra” character played. He could have learnt that from Amrinder gill’s role in Golak Bugani Bank te Batua. Storyline of movie is basically a “sex” deprived “sidhra” who is in desperate need of female. Being a Punjabi language movie under the backdrop of pre-partition punjab, the concept seems to be illogical and culturally wrong not to mention socially conservative thinking of those times. Those were the times when “honour” “pride” “respect” mattered the most and women doesn’t have that kind of choice they have today. I am disappointed with Sartaj writing and singing a song for a movie who’s concept he himself would’ve declined. Most actors are senior of the industry like Sardar Sohi, Karamjeet Ammon, Rana Ranbir and others but it surprises me how and why did they became part of this vulgar movie. It’s a shame of writers directors producers and actors to actually make a movie that was/is/will be unfitting to Punjabi culture. A poor show gippy and company.
