Not going to lie, I can see the points of some of the comments, but the coaches are what makes the show. Banter and drama is needed to increase tension and suspense. I actually LOVE the Voice Australia though I first watched the Voice US. The coaches in AU are much more honest when training with the singers. They're incredibly invested and I just didn't see much from the American version. The coaches actually disagree with each other when they believe that it was a wrong song choice, for example. It is so amazing to see Delta Goodrem bring singers from her team with her on tour. I live in North America and I am shocked that professional singers like Delta and Guy are not well-known here. Before I started watching, I had no idea who any of them were. Now, I'm a huge fan of their music.

Cobie Smulders seems to have great chemistry with anyone! Together with Jake Johnson and Michael Ealy, it's an incredible cast! She's such an amazing actress and this show really brings that out. It's great to see her as the main character. Would recommend 100%!! Even if you aren't interested in the genre at first, like me, you'll become attached to it quickly.
