This movie felt better to me, in all aspects, than The Shining. I am referring to the movie, The Shining, not the book. Both books, Dr. Sleep and The Shining are fine examples of Stephen King's story telling. Dr. Sleep, the movie, captures the essence of the original story and was a pleasure to watch.
