It was so beautifully done. I hadn’t even seen the musical, only read the book. I just loved it - Cynthia and Ariana were SO well cast! I can see why Idina and Kristen were so proud of them!

A truly lovely film, even if you weren’t a theater kid! Very funny, sweet, and clever, and an absolutely fantastic cast!

It’s really a lovely show. It’s funny, but sweet and heartfelt, while also not completely shying away from real issues that were true back then and still are. While I’m sure things weren’t even as close to a rosy as portrayed, it’s still a lovely thing to see and a reminder that we all need to appreciate and respect each other’s differences, while also recognizing the things that make us the same. My only complaint is that there aren’t more episodes!

Love it! Quirky, funny, dark, bittersweet and sometimes just sweet. Though this isn’t about dead people, If you liked shows like Pushing Daisies and Dead Like Me (among many others) and directors like Wes Anderson you’ll almost certainly love this show.
