I've always liked watching the Voice, even among rumors that it's basically "The Blake Shelton" show which is why he's won so many as a coach. IMHO, some of his "winners" were awful and unlike American Idol, none of the past winners or contestants for The Voice really seem to have made it past the show itself. At this point, I watch it more for Kelly Clarkson - I love her genuine spirit & she's hilarious at times with her one liners. John Legend also drew me to watching it this season. But of all the season's so far, this one is the worst with the obvious pull for all of Blake's contestants! Not to mention, the songs kind of suck! You want to be drawn in by songs that are known and for the most part, most of them start singing & you the WTH?? What is this? John Legends team did a great song, love Kelly singing her new hit, but the battles were awful - a lot of the singers sounded off - maybe audio issues? After watching so many of Blake's team get through and so many others on the 3 teams lose so many deserving singers, it's a no brainer that Blake will win this season. Why not just call the show "Country Voice" or "Blakes Favored so he can call himself a better coach (NOT!)" - because that's how the show will end. No wonder the viewship is going down! It just feels like the viewers are just cheated out of the "competition" when clearly it is rigged so Blake will win this season...unless John's girl or Kelly's guy pull off the win. This season feels like a rigged show and why bother watching? It was disappointing & frustrating to watch. I'm going back to American Idol who this season has found some GREAT talent & the judges are diverse with so much heart & each contestant has an equal chance to win based on their talent - not the fact that their coach basically owns the show! SMH!
