Tried to watch just for Mohanlal. But I just couldn’t. Damn slow and boring dialogues. Unwanted talks actually. Kept repeating the already known facts just like mega serial. Was waiting for it to get over !! 😵💫

Loved it!! Just can’t describe the feeling. What a movie! Surreal experience! Felt like watching a Hollywood movie. Really appreciate such different experience!! Brilliant performance and capture of intricate details!!

Surreal concepts. Different try. Definitely something to explore if you’re into mysticism. It’s like a modern abstract art. Not everyone gets it. Everyone relates it to their own life and perceives it that way. There are no answers to why or how. It is what it is. I liked it. Probably if you’re someone who connects deeply with yourself and your thoughts and dreams .. you’ll like it too!! A good attempt in Tamil cinema!

Simple film with a strong impact. Every Indian woman can relate to this. A slap on Indian patriarchy!! Must watch!! Brilliant filming of every little details. Good performance by lead actors. 5/5 is my rating.

Is there anything like zero or minus rating? I could give it to this movie. Just simple : DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WATCHING IT. Absolutely confusing & horrible ending!! I watched for Kristen but I’ll say it’s her worst film. No clarity. Is it really a story of multiple personalities or an illusion of a writer ? You’ll never know and it makes you irritated !!! I wish I read reviews here before watching it in lockdown !!

Anyone who watched Little Women 1994 version can’t agree this is the best adaptation. Old version had deep meaningful characters and could really feel their affection for siblings. It was such a classic & delightful to watch. Plus Thomas Newman background score was heavenly.
Coming to new version(2019)
Two good reasons to watch
1. Saorise performance as Jo. She’s a natural. Next best to Winona Ryder.
2. Elaborated versions of certain scenes which was missing in older versions. Feels good to watch what you imagined in mind.
Negative : Florence as younger Amy. Completely bad choice. Voice & physic didn’t match. Disaster.
Shallow dialogue delivery by actors at certain places just like repeating the older version. Also Marmee was shallow in this version. Old one makes you cry & very touch. New one makes you think & more contemporary. Worth watching for Jo’s performance.
