This game came out of nowhere! Was expecting to play it as a time-filler but it completely went beyond expectations. Outer Wilds is a mysterious and oddly challenging exploration game that subtly entices you into actually wanting to know more about this complex solar system's history, while presenting you individual and unique planets each with their own difficulties (i'm looking at you Brittle Hollow and Dark Bramble.) And the ending, Ohhhhhh the ending! It's worth playing the game for that ending alone. This is not a big game resplendant with dlc and loot crates. What it is, is an exceptionally well crafted adventure that will leave you pondering the mysteries of fate, loss and most of all,humming Reibecks bloody banjo tune for the next three weeks (if not longer.) Well done to the developers, definitely one for the top 3.
