Briana Miller – Google

I really wanted to love this movie. I so so so love the original. The original is so special, because it is simply two ghost who fall in love with a girl. A girl who accepts ghosts as a reality and accepts that life is not simple. She understands that life is strange, it is unusual, and there is nothing to be afraid of. This film was not on par with that. This film lost its way somehow. It wasn’t to accept the strange and unusual or be comfortable with your dark side. It was musical numbers, trying too hard comedy, and a story line completely separate from the original characters. It was all about women obsessing over boys and over capitalizing on what made the original film great, instead of what it should have been… it should have been pushing the boundary and going against the grain while staying true to the original plot. I give it two stars because the actors were great and there were scenes that made me laugh.
