1 star is for season 2. Season 1 was okayish, about 3 stars. But they made a right royal mess of 2nd season. Never did I think that I will have to fast forward through the episodes in a series like Hanna. Like a lot many other shows of today, this too turned out to be mostly about teenage angst. Compared to the original badass Hanna, this one is completely docile and utterly clueless till the very last episode. She herself needed saving from the bad guys throughout the season, including in the climax. Not a single act of heroism from her. It's a poor reflection on the original character's intimidating image.

I was intrigued by the flashy title, but it's like a teenage girl's coming of age drama. The main character, a teenager, likes to pepper her sentences with f word. Nothing about her suggests a warrior or a nun. Either it was written by 12-15 year olds or they are trying too hard to make her look like a cool hipster. I will admit that this is what I gathered from the 1st few minutes of 1st episode and fast forwarding to later scenes. Maybe narrative style changes for better as the season progresses, but I couldn't get past the 1st episode. To sum up, if you are looking for a "warrior nun", something like in the movie "The priest", you will probably be disappointed. If you look at the other negative reviews here, you will get the drift. Don't say you weren't warned. Six hours is a lot to waste.
