The series is gripping. It is intricately woven and honestly I highly doubt if I have watched anything like this before. I have been a fan since episode 1 of season 1 and I still am years after watching the last episode of the last season. I look forward to watch it again. Though a fair warning, it is very easy to get lost in the plot and lose track of who is who and what is happening. But it is easier to understand once it piques your interest, which is most likely to happen within a the first few episodes.

It's a wonderful movie without a doubt. And so is the book. It will leave you charmed and spellbound. A must watch and a must read. Alice Sebold has worked wonders.
