Not bad. I got some laughs, but I feel that the writing is trying a bit too hard to be witty. I'm glad it's not another crude animated comedy, but I hope that the writing will improve as the season goes on.

It's a cute movie that Sonic fans and kids will get a kick out of. If you're a parent, you won't feel like your time is wasted. If you're not familiar with Sonic, you may want to wait till it comes on VOD to rent it.
