Barry Herzog

Terrific stories, well written, poignant, often tragic, especially with the young main character's search for the right woman to marry in the face of family interference and his 16-year-old female cousin's similar plight. Oh, plus nobody in the young man's family puts any effort in to encouraging his artistic talent, apparently since that is not a value in his religion and culture. That's tragic, too. Loved the grandmothers.
