Terrific stories, well written, poignant, often tragic, especially with the young main character's search for the right woman to marry in the face of family interference and his 16-year-old female cousin's similar plight.
Oh, plus nobody in the young man's family puts any effort in to encouraging his artistic talent, apparently since that is not a value in his religion and culture. That's tragic, too.
Loved the grandmothers.
