My two year old enjoys watching this show whenever I put it on for him. When I first discovered the show I was so pleased that there are still some decent children's TV shows out there. There's some repetition and catchy little songs by the characters which helps younger kids like mine remember what they've learnt better. And indeed using music is a fun and creative way to learn. Not only is it educational in teaching life lessons but it also teaches morals which is what several of the newer children's TV shows lack.
Growing up in the 90s I see a clear difference between what kids were generally exposed to back then compared to now days. So I am wary with what my son watches on TV because so much has changed. But anyway big thumbs up to the makers of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood!
