I was really exited to see this movie, as I am a dancer myself. To be completely honest, I was dissapointed. Clara’s father was really creepy! Some of the things he said made me raise an eyebrow. Clara didn’t even get her nutcracker in the first place! Her brother got the nutcracker instead. The whole point of the nutcracker is when Clara gets her nutcracker, and he comes to life. If Disney is going to actually put the nutcracker in the title, it should definitely follow most of the plot. The plot was really basic, some of the characters were really scary! For example mother gingers children. I was really freaked out! Overall, I did not like this movie.
