It’s a low budget film. So naturally some of the acting is just bad, and the screenplay probably could have been fleshed out a little more… However , having said that, I think it’s a good watch. It’s fun and creepy and has a nice “Halloween” feel to it. I’m always more impressed with a low budget film made by people who are wanting to have fun, than a big budget blockbuster that was made to line pockets!

I enjoyed this movie. Nothing spectacular, but fun, and definitely worth the watch!

I don’t know why, but these films really do it for me! The whole “things moving that aren’t supposed to move on their own” is a really great effect. As far as found footage films go, I haven’t seen any that compare to Hell House LLC and the sequels, including Origins. I’m hoping we can expect more from this director!

I wanted to like this series.. I loved the book and the 90’s era miniseries, but to me, this was a horrible iteration! I’ve had to really try hard to finish each episode! Im not a purest and my complaint is not that it is different from the book or original miniseries. I was prepared for different; I was even excited to see a slightly different story unfold, but this is just poorly cast (for the most part, anyways) and uninteresting. Not that my two cents matters, but those are my thoughts. 😉 I will say though... I love Alexander Skarsgard in everything I’ve seen him in! So 👏
