Virginia Cairns

The premise is nice enough. Don’t we all dream of escaping the realities of life and living la dolce vita in an Italian vineyard surrounded by fabulous scenery, quirky characters and perennial sunshine. Alas this film fails to deliver the dream with enough depth. Implausible plot holes, poor acting and just a bit too wholesome. While I did laugh out loud a few times, I really didn’t engage with any of the characters. It’s a no from me.
